Therapy with Me

I value therapy relationships that are highly collaborative and active, striking balance between deep understanding and real change. To that end, I integrate wide-ranging approaches such as depth psychology, somatic experiencing techniques and CBT as the situation seems to warrant. I love questioning assumptions and playing with metaphors, and I often assign homework so that healing is not contained to the therapy hour.

In-person therapy in Fairfax City, VA.

Currently only accepting online counseling clients for group psychotherapy.

I completed my doctorate at Widener University’s Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology, where I was also honored to be the recipient of the Neubauer community service scholarship and the Empathy and Caring Award.  I completed internships at the Renfrew Center for eating disorders and the Belmont Center, both in Philadelphia.

After graduate school, I completed a 2 year certificate program in Contemporary Approaches to Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, offered by the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology. I am pleased to be involved in the Philadelphia Association of Jungian Analysts, where I participate in an ongoing monthly seminar dedicated to the study of Carl Jung’s school of thought.
